ShasPOS requests the following permissions to support specific features. These permissions are optional, and the app will still function (with limitations) if you choose not to grant them:

• Camera: Used for scanning product barcodes. Required only if you use barcode scanning features.
• Bluetooth: Required for connecting to external devices such as thermal printers.
• Bluetooth Admin: Required for managing Bluetooth connections, especially for devices like printers.
• Bluetooth Connect & Scan: (Android 12+ only) Required for maintaining Bluetooth functionality on newer devices.
• Read & Write External Storage: Used for backing up and restoring your data from your device's local storage (on Android versions before 13).

No data is transmitted over the internet or sent to external servers.

4. How We Use Your Information

Business data entered into ShasPOS is used only within the application to provide point-of-sale, inventory, reporting, and related business management functionality. Third-party advertising services may use device-related information to display and measure advertisements, improve ad performance, and comply with applicable policies and regulations.

Your data is securely stored in a local database on your device. You have the option to back up your data to your local file system for safekeeping. Since no internet connection is required or used, your data remains private.
